Chapter 1.32: More birthday times
While everyone was at work and school, Charlie made sure that this time around Bethany had a Nanny and didn't spend too much time at daycare. Nanny Akeda had the right idea of switching into her swimsuit before bathing Bethany, since she spent most of the bath splashing around.
After school, Amber invited Dwayne over. They've been becoming pretty close friends and have a lot more in common than they expected. But maybe she spent too much time trying to follow in her brother's footsteps, that it's hard for her to make her own friends. But still, Dwayne is pretty cool.
She brought up her love of cats and he couldn't agree more. So they talked about their differ kinda of cats that they loved and what they wanted to get one day.
"I really want on of those little black kitties or one with two different colored eyes. I think that'd be pretty awesome." Amber shared her favorites.
"See I just want a fluffy one who will cuddle with me." Dwayne shrugged. He just liked cats.
Akeda provided some mentorship for Archer as he worked on his creativity. She didn't seemed bothered by the racket that he was making with the piano.
After Charley got home, she and Amber bonded over some Party Frenzy. Amber just had innate sense for these games and she easily kicked Charley's booty in all the mini games.
After a friendly game and Akira made it home from work, Charley called up her close friends and family to celebrate her adult birthday.
Akira took up cooking duties, trying to expand past his typical grilled cheese.
Blow out the candles and make a wish, Charley!
Another year older, another year wise. What will the future hold for the Little family.
The guests mingled and ate, having their own little moments of fun.
Amber got to sit down with her mom old best friend and got to know him a little better.
"You know at one point in time... I could've been your father..." He grinned at her.
Amber had a hard time believing that and merely laughed it off. "Yeah right."
Everyone was having a wonderful time, when Akira decided to pull the birthday girl aside for a little of their own fun.
