Chapter 1.19: Toddler Trouble
The worst part about living in Del Sol has definitely been the relentless tourists and constant thunderstorms. But the nice part is when the two meet. Unfortunately its still not enough to send them packing. Guess they're here to stay. But it was a small victory since they needed to be smited for being so noisy.
Archer's baby days were swiftly coming to an end. It was also the Stranger Sims season premiere, so Charley and Akira wanted to take one last night out before they had their hands full with a toddler running around (Not to mention the lack of television on their home lot.
Turns out on the taxi ride over, Charley magically grew a bump. So she had to share the news with Akira, just in case he didn't notice. Guess that means they'll have 2 toddlers running around soon enough.
"Well that was unexpected... But I certainly don't object." Akira apparently didn't even notice it in the taxi, but was pleasantly surprised by the news just like Charley and everyone else was. Maybe she would've been more aware if she was feeling sick or was more hungry than usual.
Penny must've been right when she said the second pregnancy was a breeze.
Speaking of second pregnancies, it looks like Penny's second little man has grown up into a cute adorable young man.
Penny is doing a great job with the Mom thing. Also quick peak of Colton all grown up on the couch.
Charley and Akira only imposed long enough for the season premiere, they didn't want to impose too much, and like their own home, Penny didn't exactly live in a large space for hosting either. But it sufficed for what they wanted to do. Plus it gave them the chance to see Dwayne after his birthday.
Speaking of birthdays, early the next morning before Charley had to run off to work, Archer had his first birthday. She sensed elements of his father, especially with those cheeks, but only time will tell.
By the time Charley had returned home for work, Archer had found his favorite toy with the Wabbit Tablet. He was very smart, and had almost no trouble navigating his way through all the apps. His favorite thing was to watch the same shark song on repeat while singing along.
Colton Richards dropped by and was upset to see that Archer was listening to the same song his brother was playing on repeat at home. He must've hoped that he could escape it by coming over here. It seems like Archer was trying to explain why the Shark song was the best, but since his language skills were still fairly new, it came out incoherent babbling.
Don't worry though, Dad spent some time with him helping him study up some new words.
"This is a toothbrush."
"Woomush!"
"Tooth-brush..."
"Twootbus!"
It was hard to tell how much patience Akira had for toothbrushes, but it good bonding time for the boys.
Stinky butt Archer, seemed eager to lose the nickname. He already had a head start from his time at daycare, so the time spent with his dad gave him the confidence he need to start going on his own.
